I'm in the market and thinking I'd be going for a fluid trainer or rollers. I plan on riding in the winter but it will be the lack of daylight that puts me off during the week so other means of keeping the legs turning required.

Can't believe all this talk of tt's, months to go yet! Unfortunately I can't always make it out because my OH works odd hours like me. When I'm at home looking after the two young lads, a trainer would give me more options.

Carl if you think you can handle it you can have a lend of my turbo trainer for as long as you need it or until i do Barry thanks for the offer mate but I think I will just go for it. Have been looking at all sorts and different prices but that Halfords one looks even better with more money off it. I know tight arsed git and all that.

Ok guys, i'll let you off, valid excuses . A lot of people complain about tt's being boring, i don't mind too much going on mine in the winter, usually do around an hour each night whilst watching cycling highlights or doing Suffer Fest. You'll be surprised how quick that hour goes.
