Hi All, just wondered if anybody had tried the Decathlon In'Ride turbo, which now seems to have developed a variable resistance, unlike the fixed version of last year. Thanks.

I have been loaned a turbo for the winter. I am going to be using it at work in the morning instead of cycling 15 to 20 miles to work. Just do the 2 miles commute straight to work and then go for it on the turbo. Had my first tasted of it this morning and boy did it hurt. (only did 36 min with warm up and cool down/ die) My leg have not felt that burn since I used to run at school when my coach would push me. Looking forward to going on it tomorrow.

Looks very good value to me.
The reviews read favourably with noise being kept to a minimum which is a major bugbear with that type of trainer. There's also the added bonus of the front wheel riser block included. (saves on bricks!!!)
Looks to have everything you need to get back onto the road of recovery. Never even knew Machine Mart did anything like that.

Never even knew Machine Mart did anything like that. Me neither - I was in our local branch picking up bits for work last week and they had them sat near the front door. Then this morning a VAT Free voucher arrived on my desk valid on any purchases over Β£50. If any members in the Preston area fancy one we can arrange a group visit cos there is no upper limit on how much you get the vat free prices on.

Looks good to me. I have many Clarke products including a 23 year old MIG welder and I have never had to take anything back under warranty. In fact I have never had to take anything back at all. Who would have thought they sold turbos?

Bought a BKool virtual reality turbo trainer from Wiggle which arrived Xmas eve, done around 50 miles on it so far to test it out. So far I have tried Mt. Ventoux but that killed me after 3 miles of climbing I wussed out, a 28 mile triathlon route against 6 bots, Luyando-Bilbao in Spain which was fun and a 17 mile local route I did outdoors and imported.
Lovin it so far.
