Gutted to say that while out for 3 hours for Father's Day my prized T3 was stolen when my house was burgled. Ironically I kept the bike in a spare bedroom as I thought it'd be safer than the Shed! From the looks of things they were focusing on my wife's jewellery & any spare cash and then just happened upon my T3which I'm sure aided & abetted in a quicker than expected getaway! So Im sad to say I'm no longer a T3 owner nor likely to be in the future as being from ROI means I can't get the Triban here! Also I'm currently out of work so having the funds to get another one of these increasingly rare beauties & the extras I put into it seems little more than a pipe dream atm! I was due to do a Charity Cycle in Memory of my Mam on Aug 17th from Wexford - Dublin and that is now in jeopardy...which hurts most of all! T3's are really unique here in Dublin (Never mind mine with my extras onboard) so it will be quite difficult for these vermin to get rid of easily! So say a few prayers guys & gals that perhaps she'll show up! Hopefully I'll be back on the forum at some stage. Attachment Deleted

sorry to hear that.
I have mine in the shed and locked to the rafters, but if they really want it they will get it. With the amount of bike thef thats going on I wonder why there has not been a registration process put in place?

There is - pop down to your local police station with a photo of you bike and the frame number / address details and they will add it to the register. This is generally done in schools - they encourage the kids to bring their bikes on a particular day and all are recorded and photographed.

Sorry to hear that but as you say the T3 will be rare especially one looking as well as yours. I would go to the Guards with a picture as suggested. Hope you get it back before the race. Maybe you can get a loan of a bike for your charity ride. Best of luck and I hope it turns up. Soda

Sorry to hear that mate .... T3's are as rare as hens teeth here in Ireland .... be sure to keep looking out on ebay, adverts.ie and donedeal in case it reappears ... Also worth creating a thread on boards.ie as many people there will keep their eyes open www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=410

Terrible. Burglary is one of the worst crimes to be affected by. I hope the old bill can help.

Thanks everyone. Guards are on the case but don't hold out much hope. I bought my bike 2nd hand off a guy in Lisburn NI and I emailed him Mon re the serial number as stupidly I misplaced the note I took of it. He hasnt got it but I'm sure the photos I provided to the Guards will be proof enough if she's found. Thanks again guys!

Of subject a bit but I got my bike put on a national bike register scheme. The police were doing it free here a few weeks ago. Took the bike details registered it for me also bar coded it for the company.
