I've only just spotted this thread due to being away. Really pleased for you, Razor. A big pat on the back to Jason and B'Twin. It makes a refreshing change to read something so positive.

I read this thread when it was at it's awful start. What a great ending! It has really put a smile on my face after a long day at work. I will ride my T3 home with pride after reading such a brilliant story! Good luck on the ride Razor! Let's hope the tossers who nicked the bike get their just desserts.

This has warmed the cockles of my heart (!)
What a lovely outcome...and how 'humane' of Decathlon?
I really don't expect companies I buy into or support to give two figs about my ACTUAL life-story with their product these days.
The last time it happened to me was with a British Hi-Fi manufacturer called 'Musical Fidelity'. My pet rat chewed through some connection leads to one of their esoteric valve amps and the valves blew. I Sent it back (with explanation!) asking to have the valves replaced and fully prepared for a hefty bill! ' No worries Sir' was the response... 'Our valves don't blow. we have replaced them for you, 'soak tested' and serviced it and hope you have many more years of pleasure from it. What is the name of your rat?'

Fantastic story. Really pleased for you razor!
Fabulous gesture from Decathlon, cockle warming! Glad to have a small association with this company just by owning one of their bikes.
Credit also to Jason for bringing the matter to the attention of the big boys at Decathlon. Take a bow sir!

I must also mention Garmin UK. They have been fantastic with a HR strap query I've had. Replied to every query and even offered to send me out a replacement sensor for what is really a used item now. Reminds me I must fill in their feedback form. Goes to show that some companies to go the extra mile and in my opinion should be praised and 'bigged up'

I'm just so glad that we could be of assistance. Could you kindly contact the store manager of the Decathlonย Belfast store and arrange a collection time with him and his team. ย The number is 0289 0422049. ย I will send him an email to inform him of the situation. Ok Guys so after arranging my Brother in Law with his Mini Van for our 240 mile round trip to Belfast this Saturday morning. Spoke to the Manager of Decathlon's Belfast store earlier & should be collecting my new 57" RED TRIBAN 3 around Lunchtime! Going to get a few pics of the handover perhaps wearing my Hospice Tee and then I'm really going to spread the word of B'twin's good deed! Getting really excited now! Thank you So So much! Have a great day.

Great idea. They'll appreciate the publicity, as will the hospice.

Afternoon all,
Just seen the photo of the new t3 being collected in Decathlon Belfast.
I'm so pleased that you can get back in the saddle now.
We are all so pleased with the outcome.
I hope that the charity ride goes well. Don't forget to let us know how much you raised.
Have a great weekend.
