Just in case you were wondering, that's a Mustang in the workshop, now can't get this theme out my head in association with the build, feels like a proper man's bike now ! Sounds better when watching the car chase , Honestly Rad, were do you get the time to build bikes, post lots on this forum and work all at the same time ! Working now mate - work / life are just one big blurry project type thang !

I think the T3 weights were overly optimistic - given the weigh-ins I've done to date involved standing on a WiFit board with the bike in my arms, best let me confirm the weight with better scales. I just weighed my T3 out of curiosity - 10.1k including bottle cages. It still has a triple Sora Crankset and Fulcrum Racing 7s. The only way to get it significantly lighter would be to change the frame I think.

The end of season, autumn / winter 'N+1 Project' is done and dusted - the 'trainer' and the 'sportive' are set just as I like them. Added new bar tape on both bikes, basic Deda foam stuff on the T3 - I've got a new set of bars off my buddy, they're not as wide as the originals and have a different drop style but that doesn't bother me, as I'll only be on the drops going down hill or breaking in 'trainer' mode. I put slightly slicker Deda Mistral on the FC700. Also received the new pedals in the week, went for the same as the ones I've had on the T3 for yonks, saw no point in changing. They've worked well to date and are light, have a fairly wide platform but are still reasonably good looking and durable - they're Exustar EPR-100-PP, taking Look KEO style cleats (I prefer grey). Also new cables and crimps (blingy red caps), cleaned / lubed / serviced all round. Just mudguards to fit on the T3; I can now get on top of starting the winter riding regime. Here's your update pics:

Which do you prefer riding?
Maybe you are more disciplined than me, but with two bikes, I am always drawn to one of them.
