Yep, saw those, wondered if they were for own brand mudguards or something? All look slick - making my bikes look 'classic / retro' (old?) ! I believe the phrase you are seeking is "racy retro chic" The new bikes do look good though. And more red than I was expecting.

Some nice looking bikes there, wonder if they'll get them out a bit sooner this year?

Check out the clearance, and all that red, and the Flandrian badge too!!! Exciting times ahead! Look forward to spotting this one out on the road. Shouldn't be difficult to see coming

Now that is a nice bike. Really taken by that Flandrian colour scheme. More subtle than some of the others and they're not bad either IMHO.

New ERGO FIT saddle for greater comfort but they then recommend shorts with a pad or a gel saddle cover to reduce soreness? Can't be much cop this new saddle

looking good, that paint job is really nice, and so is the price tag. If i ever upgrade im really going to miss my thumb shifters. I love making the smallest of movement for all that extra speed

In terms of components it's like the Alur 700 but I think this 540 has the new Triban frame, whereas the Alur is being rebranded as an alloy Ultra (see chas' post a few above this in the thread) since the Alur frame shares a similar geometry to the carbon Ultra frames that are alread available. Whatever this means, there's going to be a wider range of road bikes available than in recent times, with quite a few choices of components.

I undertand your opinion, my concern was about the convenience to have a couple of so similar equipped and priced bikes in the range. Bigger costs for storage and logistic!
