SNSSO.
Sorry to hear you're unwell, like others I'd been wondering if where you'd gone and it was Fluffkitten who pointed us to this thread (Thanks Fluff).
After reading of some of your adventures on your blog it's easy to think of you as being like your avatar; tough and full of fight. I hope this is the case when it comes to your illness and you make a speedy recovery.

I echo the Captain, was thinking of you the other day. Hope you can keep posting (or at least reading what's happening on here) and fingers crossed for a quicker than expected recovery. Stay positive and maybe take in some indulgent and extended TdF viewing? I find you can't beat it to transport you somewhere else ;-)

I am with you there Martin. I was planning to do the Ride Bath today but the wind and rain put me off too. As you say, the weather should be better next week as there is a ridge of high pressure building from the Azores. More important than that, its building across Southern France and Northern Spain where there has been a lot of flooding recently. I am there myself the following week so hope its dried out by then and I'll get to see a bit of the Tour.

I too have a bad back, bent down at work yesterday morning and couldn't get back up. The boss heard me scream, came to see what the fuss was all about then said "hold on" and came back with his iPhone to video me in agony! Hopefully should be fit in a few days and get back out there and try my new Shimano wheels!

Right knee all strapped up due to the random onslaught of pain last weekend. Feels very weak. At least another week off the bike I think then starting on the bike very gradually again. Super bummed at this.
