I'll take those off your hands if you're serious about the Β£10 tag, my size and drop, would go well on T3. Sure am. Tenner and a few for postage would be sufficient. I'll give you a shout when I swap them over.

... but if the roads are dry and the sun's out, then no reason you can't go do some main roads, pick ones with no field run off. If I simply wanted to test a bike and the roads weren't playing ball, there's an oval circuit at a business park near here that has perfect tarmac and uber good drainage, designed so that it drains and dries out really well. There's always a way to work something, 3 months wait is a tad excessive IMHO, the bike gets a little damp in summer after all and they are supposed to be ridden .

Maybe but a dry day will be OK, it's not made of sugar.

Fair play though, Ger's spot is proper FUBARed - nice here today but too busy to go out and it's an easy day, so turbo it is later.

Finally got out for a half hour test ride. It's nice. Firstly, the frame size is fine with regards to stack and reach. There is quite a chunk of toe overlap at the front though. The cranks are 2.5mm than on the Triban and I threw some new cleats on last night which might need a bit of fettling but not enough combined to overcome the amount of toe overlap. Track standing will be a bit more interesting in future. I left all the spacers on underneath the stem and it is super comfortable. Easily rideable all day though I will take a few spacers out to get a lower position. The stem needs to go for a longer one as I am too upright and my knees bash the bar when out of the saddle. I think it's an 80 or 90cm stem but I have 100 and 110' lying around to try out. I'm not going to make any bold claims after 6 miles around an industrial estate as I can't put any effort in due to the after effects after 3 weeks of asthma trouble but it DOES accelerate much faster than the T3 and when it gets up to speed it retains that speed with less effort than the T3 requires. The weight difference isn't really noticeable but I'll reserve judgement there until I climb some on it. The ride isn't noticeably different either. You still feel the bumps but they don't feel as sharp as they do on the T3, but the Dale is also on different wheels and tyres so how much of this is down to the frame is anyone's guess. Final note goes to the ratios. I am going to like the 52/36 up front very very much. You can keep it on the inner ring quite happily on the flat. Handy for warming up or just leaving it there between climbs. The 34t on a compact was only ever used for climbing but the 36 immediately feels more useful. Way more to come as I start to put some miles on it but it will be late summer before I'm strong enough to see what this thing can do. Happy bunny though.

I've a small amount of toe over lap on the front wheel on my Focus germcovoy. I only ever never notice it when pulling away from a stop and making a sharp 90Β° turn. 99% of the time I never notice it and it's never been a problem.

Think it is fairly n0rmal but just never noticed it much on my t3 but it does have a longer wheelbase than the Evo so to be expected.

Found the 110m stem that originally came with the T3. Will try that on the Dale tonight with a few less spacers. Fun and games.

Did an hour with the longer stem and whipped out 2cm of spacers. Another spacer out and a 12cm stem should have it nailed.

This is me nearly all set. Stem now sitting on the headset cap. I had a 5mm in there for a few rides before and fancied it that bit lower again. Still have the crappy 110mm stem on there which I need to swap for a nicer one but I may still go for a 120mm once I've tried a few lengthier rides on it. The blue outers didn't quite colour match the other blue accents so I'll likely switch to black or cannondale green. I'm not big on the feel of the cork bar tape so will probably do that job soon enough.
