Any more green and you can use it as a float for St Patrick's day parade eh? Get it hammered and give us an objective report after a few thousand miles please. Sure will. Want to get few more in on the T3 first to get myself up to speed. No point in getting on the new machine just to burn out in no time due to diminishing fitness. Very much looking forward to it though. Bikes have always been the same to me. Very interested to see what differences I pick up on.

Upping the carbon count for Saturday mornings. Has yours been christened yet? Not yet haven't been on any bike since mid December not a happy man.

Few issues. 44CM bar width centre to centre (on a size 52 frame!!!). That's at least 4cm too wide for me so there's a job to do. I ride 38cm c2c on my T3 but will probable go for 40cm this time.
The cable outers up front are crap. The front derailleur cable outers are causing the bars to pull to the left if I lift the bike up. Two jobs in one at least but it's costing me a new set of bars and tape. May as well ditch the white outers now then.

Spoke protector and reflectors off. Saddle height nearly right (forgot to adjust for different crank length so it needs to come down a little).Haven't played with spacers yet as bars need replaced (see above).

Looks fast.
Check the braking surfaces though, mine had a small defect (same wheels) on the front rim (others seem to have had the same manufacturing defect), so hard braking was annoying, gentle braking was fine.

New bars ordered. Seriously can't believe they specced a size 52 frame with 44cm width bars. Maybe someone will take the bars for a tenner. New tape ordered as well and I'm going to try blue outer cables to match the blue accents on the forks and chainstays.

Just one nagging question here, have you actually ridden it yet? Personally, given this dry spell, I'd be out giving some stick to see how it goes - then just wet wipe any dust off (what I did on my best bike yesterday). Personally, for me, the white cables are a secondary issue and given the price of decent cables, I'd change in the future when they need replacing.

... although to be fair, it's looking damp where you are but the weekend looks OK for a tester at least.

I'd leave them white! I swapped black for white when they needed replacing on T5. I've currently got white and black at the min as Deca only had black in stock, well it's winter come Spring she'll be looking the business again!

My street and surrounding areas have taken a dumping of snow and ice overnight. The most action its gotten is me sitting on it against the wall to adjust the saddle. I'm looking out the window hourly to keep an eye on the weather. I'm busting to even just ride round the block on it. The wide bars will ruin any test rides though but I'm still desperate.

I'll take those off your hands if you're serious about the Β£10 tag, my size and drop, would go well on T3.

I'm with Rad, I'd live with the cables for now and replace when needed. I suppose changing the cables does give you the opportunity to cut them to the correct length as in my experience lots of bike come with outers that are a few cm's too long.

All good things come to those who wait! Mine was in the back bedroom for almost three months before i took it for it's first spin outdoors.
A mate of mine used his new bike all last winter as it was new and enjoyed riding more than his old bike. This year he's using the old bike as his winter bike, good job as he came off it last night on black ice and damaged it. Just saying...there's no rush to take it out in this weather.

The inners might be ok but the outers are messy with the barrel adjuster snagging the other cables when turning the bars. Won't be nice when out on the road so I'll need to do something with them, The bars are to be changed so I may as well go for a cable colour I find a bit more aesthetically pleasing.

A ride or 2 to sort the fit and it will be in storage for a month or 2.
