garmin are saying spend less on clothes so you can afford our products ill stick to geonaute Hey Zoltan, I'm looking at the b'Twin Satcount+ computer, which by default is geared towards Geonaute (hopefully not exclusively). Any idea, as the forum's foremost leading Geonaute expert, lols, if data can be exported from Geonaute to Strava? I'd really like to use a dedicated GPS device with barometric altitude, as well as cadence and heart sensors, for the extra accuracy and to spare my phone battery. Cheers!

I on the other hand am quite happy to stick to my phone until I can afford the Garmin 510. I have the Topeak cadence and speed sensor on order should come in this week. Zoltansocrates the leading geonaute expert didn't know that. lol nice one zoltansocrates.

Geonaught isn't able to sync with strava, never used strava before tbh As Long as I can monitor my heart and stay in the correct zone I'm not too fussed but I will end up with the sat count nice looking bit of kit and , sod it more bank card usage
Do NEED it though

I think you can export rides from Geonaute as GPX (or whatever) and into Strava. If you were that way inclined. Which I suspect you're not, Zoltan! For me, I love that - as far as i can tell, as Decathlon have the Satcount+ in stock but can't actually sell them yet (cross my palm with silver and i'll spill the beans on why not) you can basically draw a route on a computer in Geonaute's Google maps interface and import it onto the GPS Satcount for turn by turn directions. Hope I'm right!

Hope I'm right! Just a little insider. Spoke to the Uk marketing leader in cycles. we have got the hardware for the sat count and satcount+, hense the reason wh ywe have got these in stock. but its because there having a few technical difficulties uploading the software data onto the computer to make them sellable as each one gets tested to make sure its fully working. so might be a bit longer until we get our hands on 1.

Aye I'm just not taken by the whole log your ride on a map , its generally accepted that the garmin 800 series is the nuts but I'd rather spend half a grand on wheels and tyres and carbon things

That's what I heard too, Dan. The chap I spoke too was confident the issue would be resolved this week, hope he's right. It's shown as available online but apparently if you do order it you will get a call explaining they can't send it out just yet, I guess because they may need to update the firmware...
I want mine for the weekend!
Know what you mean, Zoltan, but it's a good way for simpletons like me to keep track of things!

I would be interested in the b'Twin Satcount+ when it get released for sale.
Especially as I have been furnished with a Β£20 discount voucher from customer services which will help ease the pain of purchase.

What was the voucher for Red Devil, if you don't mind me asking? I have one too, but is the result of a splurge on their triple loyalty points weekend!!

If it can do the map thing and from google well I am ready to give it ago. I am planning to get the 510 but this might be better.

Hey Whitey, hold the phone for now. As no one except store staff have had access to the SC+, it makes it hard to tell exactly what the capabilities are, I've read the manual online and messed about with the mygeonaute website, and let's just say it looks encouraging. Mind you, I've been wrong before...
I've emailed Decathlon with this query so will keep you all posted.
