Ian those forks look made for your T3a, very nice indeed.
I was tempted after you posted in the what have you bought now thread but the seller didn't have any with a steerer tube long enough for my size 60 T3a.

Ian what brand are the forks? They really look the part on the T3a - might consider some for my T3a. Either that or maybe some white or black carbon forks from Planet X instead. Very smart bike though man!

That is well fit.
The OCD in me would like the RD finish to match the crankset, but apart from that, it's lovely.
Do you still have the stock wheels on there Ian (looks like it, but they look slightly different to the T3 Red wheels)

Upgrading in a month or so, My birthday will consist of cards with Planet X vouchers inside (hopefully) All done with outlandish bargains, I reckon the 10spd upgrade will be a bit of an investment. I'm going either: Sram Apex White or Microshift White.

Looking good, SRAM is sweet and subtle. Think this bike will hold its own with many an exotic number - it's going to have some bike snobs scratching their heads all confused lol. Niggles to my eye, purely IMHO mind and a selfish view suiting my own preferences, meant as critical but positive feedback that you're welcome to bin as not your cuppa if you don't agree ... I'm just asking!!! ... as I've said before, I'd aim to endure a little acclimatisation pain and flip stem back down in warmer weather. You sure your seat's high enough? Looks a bit low to bar level for my preferences, mine snook up to have the number 3 visible after about 10 months - not too high in fact I like the feel of free range with the seat at it's upper limit, can still drop heels and don't rotate at hips (5'10'', 32.5'' inner leg - 54 frame, 120mm stem).

I agree with you on the stem, I might flip it back tonight, it was in a quest to stop my hands hurting. I hope the new forks will be more forgiving. Also the wheelbase is now a bit shorter with new straighter forks. On the saddle... I've been lowering 2mm at a time to get it right, I was getting numb toes on longer rides, due to 'pressure of the neathers' all seems good now though. - I've only got ikkle legs!

It's becoming quite a minimal exercise, I like that - IMHO the SRAM would look aesthetically crisp as you like it but will need some cleaning; Microshift set would be OK without the colour and text; they look a bit 80's for some reason. What wheels are going on?

I like the double tap shifters on the Apex.
Wheels... Best I can get for under 100 quid! Probably the deal on R501 from Planet X or RS11, silver or white rather than black, stick a PG850 11-28 cassette.
