Here you go for the hard of thinking, Peter Sagan shows you how :

I've got my longer ride carry kit down to a pretty minimal level now:

You'd need a comma after the 'Iso Drink,' for it to read that way ... but then I wouldn't expect you to know proper English from across the border lol ! Just got fed up rounding it all up each time, so taped it all up, you can wheedle out the converter and the fiver without undoing it, rarely use the other stuff - real low tech solution but it works.

That is very well organised. I have the same, apart from the valve converter which I'm on to now.

This is a rear puncture and is 5 mins, deffo a road bike tyre and the bloke is not orginized at all and no co2 inflater. Yes i am very persistant Once you have got the hang of it a puncture at home or in the middle of the countryside is no big thing in my opinion!

I haven't yet had an Energy Gel to date, I eat Muesli bars, Flapjacks, Bananas, 'Go Ahead' biscuits and the stuff in the Bidons appears to do the job ok, the the Gel is there for if/when the 'man with the hammer' calls deep into Wales; although I try to avoid that point, as it's a bit daft, even though some advocate it as a training thing ... I did have it the other day, when on way back from Glos after looping the FOD and ending up with a bent mid front cog, which was stuck in 'dawg ring' but I was near Berkeley Heath and went for a Red Bull and a Coke from the garage to sort it and get me through the last few miles.

ukdaws ... that guy is about normal I reckon but he missed an easy gain ... if you must put your bike upside down, then put it on the grass!

Now he can change a tube a lot quicker than me... Agreed that was funny too. Yet what would he do if he was caught in the middle of nowhere and with a mini-pump and a road bike? He would still be quicker than us

It's true that; could do with some capitalisation and some full stops, although admittedly, 'tis tricky stuff using apostrophes I must concede. Perhaps even harder than fixing your puncture in 3 or 4 minutes!

By coincidence had to swap back to a replacement long valve Michelin Race Light on the rear as temp one on recently, so timed a relaxed swap over and kept it real world with reinflation by travelling pump.
The swap took 6 and 1/2 minutes, including 2 minutes pumping it up to very high pressure (about 110 psi when checked after with track pump) - happy that's not too much of a hassle and now confident to head into the back of beyond confident of pressure to ride on without garage top up, a good exercise to do at home.

I think everyone should try changing a tube before you venture out any distance just for the practice. Also being able to remove and remount the wheels should be practiced as this will keep you calm if it ever happens a long way out from home.

Testing your pump's pressure capability is probably the most important thing if heading 'out there'.
