Such awful news to overshadow what was a wonderful race. Just a kid riding his bike you are so correct. hard to put into words a situation like this. we know the sport is tough, but fatalities are rare. when they happen its a shock, and as he was so young even more so. I am sure that we all feel for his family. RIP.

LBL - another great race Is anyone here watching pro cycling these days? Or just me? Agreed, whenever anyone posts though someone always moans about spoilers... Was happy to see Jungels win and not the traditional Valverde finish!

Was happy to see Jungels win and not the traditional Valverde finish! I changed the subject line! This thread seems a bit pointless if we cannot mention results. "Yay, go (that guy)"

Wow! I just watched the entire PR βas liveβ 12 hours later. Kept off FB, reddit, news, etc. Amazing race. Yay, Sagan!! Arguably the worlds greatest/most favourite one day race, and no one mentions it.

LBL - another great race Is anyone here watching pro cycling these days? Or just me? No I watch just about every race Kiwi, either live on Eurosport or on "catch up". Sadly the problem seems to be that there are hardly any people using this forum nowadays. I guess it's a "chicken and egg" situation but I can't see much point in posting a comment that's only going to be read by half a dozen people.

Who's in Girona?? So I follow a few NZ riders and a handful of other pros, but tend not to follow lots. But from what I can see there are a lot of riders currently riding around Girona. George Bennett (Lotto Jumbo) Aaron Gate (aqua blue) Dion Smith (wanty groupe gobert) James Oram (One pro) Lawson Craddock (EF Drapac) Tom Baylis (one pro) Nathan Brown (EF Drapac) Who else? A lot of the times it looks like the guys are there sort of by themselves, and not as part of their team, for exmple a few times you get a kiwi/aussie group thats a mix of teams. 100s apparently www.cyclingweekly.com/routes/cycling-in-girona-377321?

Was happy to see Jungels win and not the traditional Valverde finish! Think there are ways to post within the first few hours of a race without saying who won. After 24 hours (so that we don't spoil for our Antipodean friend(s)) its fair game methinks.
