Boardman Road Team TT. Looks much better in the flesh than on the website. Brief spin on the turbo last night and a rubbish photo here www.strava.com/activities/971223638Best I could get for my budget (Β£650 new with various discounts). Much lower at the front end than my Focus (with clip-ons) = lower and flatter back. Size is small (54) which feels perfect for my 5'10" height but I do have relatively short legs. Will take some proper picks at the weekend with the racing wheels fitted. Impressed with it so far apart from the gear outer being ~1" too short meaning the steering is restricted. Will pop back to Halfords to request some longer lengths. Bit of a faff as it means unwrapping and rewrapping the aero bars but I'd rather do that myself than let them loose on it.

First run last night with my local running club, Ellesmere Port. Friendly bunch of mixed abilities that go out Tuesday and Thursday nights and split into two groups depending on ability/speed (looks like a blokes group and a womens one I guess). I joined the blokes on a 7 mile loop. My mate was planning on running this at his tempo pace @ 7 min miles so I started out with him. He was struggling a little and dropped back to 7:30 pace. I caught up with the leading runners, one of which turned out to be the mens club captain, and ran with them. Turned out to be a nice pacey ride with a few (for me) tempo miles at ~6:30 pace. www.strava.com/activities/978667914Running to the meeting point and home again nudged me over 13 miles overall. I'd be happy to slot that distance and type of run into my schedule each week Out with them again on Thursday to see what their Quality runs are like before I decide on joining or not.
