Topped mine up a bit more today. Its a good way to remove tattoos if you can target them. Damage to the left rocket motor.

Can't believe that nobody else is posting in here. Got to be someone elses turn. Went back to the hospital today and quite a short wait. No sign of infection after having my hand redressed. Back again on Monday to see if they are happy with my teeth or I need further work under a general anaesthetic. I've gone over to my Pennine training camp with my bike in the hope of a Sunday ride.

Woah! Glad I had read you're post on the "Who's getting out there?" thread before your injuries loomed large on the screen just then. That's nasty Roy. How deep is the split in the nose? Hopefully just on the surface as there are no stitches. Not sure anyone is going to top that for a road rash photo (at least I hope not).

Not good Roy, hope it doesn't keep you off the bike for too long and i'm sure it won't - speedy recovery pal.

Ouch. Had to scroll quickly past the photo. Hope you heal quickly Roy and you're back posting those incredible speeds and distances very soon.

Rocket powered recovery as well as cycling. This is after only 4 days. My skin seems to regen pretty quick.

Do you mean aesthetics or performance? Never was one for form over function.

Me neither ... but to pull a discussion sideways, if something looks right to the the specialist's eye (the racer's eye, or actually, a painter's, a top mechanic's, woodworker's etc) then it it's probably OK - on the psychology / performance front, what we are and what we do is a totality picture, we need to start with all the ducks in line and also have a plan for when they all start popping off (bit heavy that, apologies perhaps, I think you're with me on it though - cage the monkey ).
