"I used to be Snow White, but I drifted". Mae West
On the suspension bridge over the Tees at Whorlton . A beautiful winters day but the photos don't show the biting wind.

Hope your going to clean her when you get back. Your brave cycling in this.. Definitely, that brown stuff (mud is a convenient euphamism) sets solid. A quick hose down and a soft brush does the trick. And here's the proof

Yet another Tiagra upgrade Started out very organised All going according to plan And finally complete with new Gatorskins. I'm keeping the the old bar tape until I am sure about the shifter position. And the aftermath

Looking good. - Carbon forks next eh? Love the teaspoon on the bench! I think there's half a cheese sandwich under there too. Very tempted by carbon forks but most of the bargains on e-bay seem to have steerers too short for the 60 frame. However, I have seen these www.jejamescycles.co.uk/univega-full-carbon-road-fork-id81692.html. I'll see how the credit card bill looks next month

Found this 57 b'twin sport frame on ebay. The initial plan is to build it up with all the stock bits left over from previous upgrades For a while I have suspected that while my 60 frame is OK a 57 might be better so time to experiment. I expected it to be exactly the same as the T3 but the seat tube is thinner so the FD clamp is 31.8mm rather than 34.9 and the seat stem is the more commonly available 27.2mm. Also there are no holes in the seat stays for mounting racks.

Yet another Tiagra upgrade Funny enough - I'm sat at my kitchen table reading exactly the same book :-) Did the Tiagra upgrade make much of a difference, I'm thinking of doing the same to my T5 ?

Progress is being made. New 42cm FSA compact handlebars from PlanetX. The rest is stock from the white one. Halfords have a seat stem and fd clamp with my name on and the jobs a good'un. Windymiller The Tiagra doesn't make me go any faster but is much more pleasant to use. it will be interesting getting back to the Microshift kit for a while.

And here she is complete for the moment. Looks very likely that I'll be putting all the upgrade bits onto this one and retiring the size 60 white one. I want to experiment with a triple for a while.

With the carbon forks, Tiagra groupset and RS10wheels all installed this bike is finally done until things wear out. No parts of my original white T3 are left.
