looks like a skin suit
rule #14 : Team-issue shorts should be black, with the possible exception of side-panels, which may match the rest of the team kit.

and for those wondering what ive got against skin suits....
Rule #42// A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run. If it’s preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run, it is not called a bike race, it is called duathlon or a triathlon. Neither of which is a bike race. Also keep in mind that one should only swim in order to prevent drowning, and should only run if being chased. And even then, one should only run fast enough to prevent capture.

Just a reminder of where we were a while back - shameful thread detour : We have been progressing ideas for a Triban Owners Club logo / outfit. I'm calling the two options 'Classic' (the simple top one) and 'Leisure' (the tricolour striped bottom one) - you can vote twice in the poll, one to say yes or maybe, and then pick an option for the kit (or both) - I'm assuming that if you're not interested you'll just abstain. The concept proposed has been subject to much debate and may need to change yet, the costs and progression all depend on demand, as the prices shift accordingly from circa £30 upwards for a top, depending on numbers ordered, so it would be good to know if it's worth progressing further via some input from members. Please vote above to register interest, it's not a commitment to buy. All comments and suggestions appreciated, keep them constructive if possible though please . If you want to have a go at designing other alternatives, please feel free - perhaps put them on the other thread to focus this one for those who are seriously interested?

Hi Rad..I have been encouraging and was one of the people who said put the designs up and get people to vote (money where you mouth is time). I work in Marketing and have worked for global corporations for many years and I would say one of the hardest things to do is design anything by committee. The two you have put up here are great and they polarise opinions and they should do as well. One is more classic and safer and the other is daring and outrageous. I like them both and would wear them both, there is always going to be an opinion, but at some point we have to say, here they are, do you want one. Now, I am sure that you have put this full red design up as a bit of a 'tongue in cheek'. You know that if you design by committee, this is what you get, something quite bland and something that won't offend anyone, but wont excite anyone either. So, from my point of view, well done for the work so far. Well done for putting ideas up. Well done for getting some costings. If we do go ahead with jerseys, make sure you get the sample FOC

the more i look at classic the more impatient i become, its right what panda is saying and i think we are agreed that its down to either classic or the losing design, that is to say, lets get the classic one made!!!!

So, I've read from start to (current) finish......Classic.
I'm a commuter, I hate cyclists in black, with no lights....
So, Classic in red preferred, yes, red is not an option, in reality here.
Classic, because it is clean, if Fredscuttles is still about, I get your point, but the top draws in those that are interested in what TOC is, nobody else who sees it is going to care a hoot what TOC stands for, less if they have to squint to see the words 'Triban Owners Club', remember, half the time we will be bent over giving it some pump-age through the pedals, itonly matters what the top says in the café, where you can boast how your £300 bike just minced the £2000 fat knacker still huffing up the last hill.....

What colour are you wearing in your Avatar? Perhaps as a compromise the O in TOC could be reflective material?
