We have been progressing ideas for a Triban Owners Club logo / outfit. I'm calling the two options 'Classic' (the simple top one) and 'Leisure' (the tricolour striped bottom one) - you can vote twice in the poll, one to say yes or maybe, and then pick an option for the kit (or both) - I'm assuming that if you're not interested you'll just abstain. The concept proposed has been subject to much debate and may need to change yet, the costs and progression all depend on demand, as the prices shift accordingly from circa £30 upwards for a top, depending on numbers ordered, so it would be good to know if it's worth progressing further via some input from members. Please vote above to register interest, it's not a commitment to buy. All comments and suggestions appreciated, keep them constructive if possible though please . If you want to have a go at designing other alternatives, please feel free - perhaps put them on the other thread to focus this one for those who are seriously interested?

But where do either of them say they're anything to do with Triban unless you get right up close? The TOC acronym is completely meaningless to everyone except those who've looked at this thread. Surely one of the main reasons for having the jersey is to show others it represents the Triban Owners Club.
I would suggest the opposite - a small TOC logo but TRIBAN OWNERS CLUB in prominent lettering.
Personally I would also have preferred a simpler colour scheme that more closely represented the particular Triban in question and have different jerseys for each bike. So, for instance, for the T3 classic, red with white lettering obviously.
I'm not knocking, simply giving my opinion. Well done though. You've obviously spent a considerable time on this and I think the idea of a club jersey is a very good one.
Also, might I suggest you add a further voting option for those who like the idea of a club jersey but neither of the ones shown here.
PS - If I had to choose one I think the first, simpler and less busy design is much better.

Thanks for your opinion but I do have to ask that show me a design then fredscuttle please ; I don't mean to be rude but it is so easy to talk a good game in these matters - the full listing of the name will fight with the proportions of any shirt, by all means try it and see how you get on. No more voting options available with this forum type.

Never tried this but I'll try and do one for the T3. If I don't post it then i haven't managed to do it.

Doing one just for the T3 is not really going to dial it for all the crew though fredscuttle - perhaps you are beginning to see the issues that need developing here .

FYI - I posted this on the wider discussion thread:
I've also got prices through, which I'll need to look at more closely to fix but here's the rough idea - it will be best to try and streamline the demand and style as the number thresholds are up to 5, 6 to 12, 13-49.
12 gets a set-up rebate as well as price drop - I can't see us getting up to 49 but we may get over 5 for each - I wonder if Decathlon would sponsor the set up for addition of BTwin logo?
If we get over 12 we get half price set up (£50 rather than £100) and a top would be £33.50 - set up charge £50.
6 - 12 shirts would be £100 set up and £37.00 per shirt. 13 - 49 shirts would be £50 set up and £33.50 per shirt.
Loads of shorts and bib options similarly priced to the tops and upwards, we can get onto this later.

I think both kits look great. Like to look of the logo, simple and clean looking. My preference is for the 'classic' but if the cost wasn't too high I'd probably get both

A further bit of info, the 'Leisure' shorts most likely wouldn't have the colour banding as shown; it might be that we would go for plain black shorts with the Leisure variant and bibs with the Classic, which is in line with the feel of both.
You can of course just use your own black shorts but the white side panels of the Classic style lend themselves to bibs with a white side panel.
All down to numbers really, as under 5 and they get pricey.

The problem is that, regardless of how good or bad your two offerings are visually, and personally I think the classic design is goodish (not so keen on the deckchair look), they both fail completely in terms of one of the main objectives of any jersey, which is to say what it represents. Regardless of any jersey I, or anyone else, puts forward as an alternative, it should be clear and unambiguous what it represents, and TOC, as I said in my first post here, is totally meaningless except to those who've visited this and the other thread about jerseys. As i said on the other thread, I preferred Arny's designs for the simple reason that Triban Owners Club was prominent and clear for all to read.

rad - going to be brutally honest and apologies to anyone offended or who takes offense - abs none intended. your seniority within this forum is going to attract the 'yes' mob even if you were to draw a dog poo on the shirt and offer that - we can talk about if for ages and nothing will happen, the fact is your first design - the classic - is a banger- superb, id wear it proudly - so it doesnt say triban owners in big and bold, so what, TOC is for us, a trek rider isnt going to look at it and suddenly change his bike is he, this is our wee team/forum and anyway the web addy will be on it
i actually DO like the r/w/b toc sign looks great, better than expected
now is the time to shut down the deliberation, certainly go with classic and gets some jerseys on backs. if its successful enough within the TOC forum we can look at later issues, but this is our first step, one shirt should do, and that shirt is the classic - well played - great simple and yet standout *stands and applauds*

Sorry FredScuttle, I'm of the opinion that big TOC and small TribanOwnersClub is better, I really like the classic design above (not keen on the deck chair one, looks good but I wouldn't wear it.) It will be impossible to please everyone. Edit: What Zoltan said basically

Ok here's my two penny worth... Wicked! I like both. I'd probably err on the side of the classic one, only as I'd feel a little less conspicuous, plus the black is more slimming!!! Haha My only niggle is could the web address be .co.uk rather than .net? It's one of my pet niggles and nothing to do with design. Good effort tho, looks professional and I couldn't do any better. On the flip side, I think a dog poo picture on a shirt would be wickedly funny and I'd probably wear that too!!! Well done to all the creative types that have made designs, I can't do that sort of thing hence why I didn't try
