PS - the font I sourced is aiming to replicate the simple symmetrical circular one set up by Arny, whilst still being crisp and readable if used for longer sections of text.

Prefer these Rad. I was going to suggest something more badge like might be more appropriate, it could be more easily applied to different items (website, jersey, cap, even a nice stitched badge). The kerning between the T and the O need tightening up on these, so that they more closely match the OC gap. That's being picky though, at this stage the concept is more important.

I know Phil, just a quick font finding and colour matching exercise, aiming to use the KISS concept, establish some structure etc. as we'll never get anywhere with a set up of bespoke design and home made fonts - simply typed it in and jiggled it about into the centre, we can do proper balancing in due course; IMO I am happy to take on board the ideas and I'm trying to work Arny's enthusiastic input into some form of workable shape. You know how these things go ! If people were happy with the above as a start point, we can more easily push it forwards into reality.

Definitely Rad, I think it's the strongest starting point that could lead to some quite fun applications. I'd love to have a play myself, but have a client deadline that's tight at the moment. Just popped on to have a break and give my brain a rest.

PS, I am thinking the loose rules are heading towards a really simple use of the three colour scheme (and if someone wanted to swap red for blue then fine), the text can sit either on blocks or dots or just straight on a background - that way the world's your oyster in terms of badges, clothes, hats, stickers, paperwork and internet / media use.

An animation ... i.e. moving and making noises ... but useful in showing the complexities of a basic three colour palette (BnW + 1 other) and simple graphics.

The red one looks like red nose day The black circle with TOC being larger, pushing the edges of the circle I think would be spot on, some progress I go away for ten minutes....lol

It's not supposed to be an either or, you need the flexibility of various colour combo's to make them work in different situations and cummon Z you know the Polka Dot Jersey that was around before red nose day .

Ran the logo through Whatthefont and although didn't find an exact match because of the gaps and conjoined lettering, it suggested "OL London Black Italic", "Tipemite Italic" or "Tipemite Oblique". Don't think these are free though unless someone already has them in their library. Rad I think your onto something. Keep it simple, contrasting colours, almost a bit like Windows Metro UI, which I'm a fan of. Only thing I'd suggest is remove the "www." from the URL but minor point. Good work guys

Just checked the 'maillot Γ pois rouges' which you could translate as red pea jersey lol - was introduced in 1975, Red Nose day started 10 years later.
