MY resting heart rate is usually between 32 and 40 bpm Max heart rate I have seen recently is 192bpm although 10 years ago I was measured at 211 in a lab (for a VO2MAX test)
I'm in my late 30's
As r0b1et mentioned, if your resting heart rate is under 45bpm, it is well worth getting checked out and if it is OK for you, making a note of it on any ICE card you carry as a low resting heart rate can make medics draw the wrong conclusions.

Fortunately after my crash, they didn't look At my card, but my gf and riding buddy told them several times that when my hr was about 80, that was really high, they were a bit worried I was bleeding internally as it wasn't as high as they thought it should be.
