I'm after one of the old Triban 3's for the misses. She's a short arse. I'll have to find out how short and see if there are any knocking about. She wants one for her triathlons.

how short is she then? and with her being small, I'd wanna push her onto the 54 more than anything especially her wanting to compete. I've got the admins to pin up top about availability on the old T3's mainlt the 54 and 57. I don't know exactly where your from but if you find its really worth it, maybe the journey you need. just get her down a local decathlon and get tested on the new T5's on a 54 and see what shes like if all good, then may be a trip worth while afterall

Afternoon all, found this forum the other day after looking online for Triban info.
I'm about to purchase my first raod bike and have Β£750 max. I went to Decathlon Reading today for a look. They had quite a few 3s, 3A's, 5's and 5A's in various sizes. They alos had just one 7 which really took my fancy.
I tried a 57 and a 60 and couldn't really decide which size suited me best. I'm 6'1 with an inside leg of 33". The guy in the shop said the 60 was probably best but tbh he was pretty busy with a few people wanting his attention so he pretty much left me to it.
What size would you recommend for me?
