Boil my head!!!!! If my bike is to big for me ill have to look at stem options I guess. As I've heard you can make a small bike bigger but not a bigger bike smaller!!!!

I've just found your height. now for a 60, i would say that should be ideal? you would possibly be more comfortable on a 57 but with that in mind, if your longer in the arms, a 57 might feel too upright.

Now im a lad who is 5'9 riding a 57 with a 30-31" leg length. when i do my usual test everything seems fine apart from the neck stem as it mite need a little lengthening but atm, it is fairly comfortable. My saddle is fairly high atm and with you being nearly 6ft, and a possible 31-32" leg, there should be no problem, it may be the positioning is wrong. Are you riding with cleats and how far is your saddle from bottoming out?

Yes mate. 5ft 11. I've got a fairly long reach. When I spoke to Matt he did mention a few stems lengths that I could try. I'll see what tomorrow brings. I think the fact that I visited Evans and pinerello in brum today to buy a stem has put me on a downer as they kept on saying that 60 is way to big for me!!!!! Snobs

lol, you see they're saying 60 is way to big for you because they havent taken into account that the frame is a compact frame. if your to measure the seat post down to the centre of the crank, it should say about 54cm. but if you place a bit of string on the headset/spacers on the neck stem, attach it to the seat post so its completely horizontal and measure a vertical line downward to the crank, it should come up as 60cm. Thats why they're saying your frame is too big. they're comparing you to a normal frame, with that, you would be riding a 55-57. I'll show you 2moro with our FC3 bike, and i'll let you ride it round the bike part aswell. (just to make every1 else jealous )

arny5triban - excellent thread - thanks for taking the time to dig out the info.
If you get the chance , it would be really good to know the stem length fitted to each frame size. ( Or are they all the same ? )
