I have looked at these mounts but I agree with rads and think they are over priced I have mine on the stem and happy with it there until such time as that piece of plastic gets cheaper! Don't you have trouble seeing it sometimes? only time I have trouble seeing it is when im on the drops, other than that no problems

I even used mine to navigate the 100k Moor2coast Audax with no problem at all. In fact I'm thinking of buying another standard mount for about Β£8 for my winter bike.

I had 2 of those mounts come with my garmin, one is on my T3 and the other I will put on my hybrid winter bike like you

Don't you have trouble seeing it sometimes? How hard can it be to see something when it's right beneath your nose?

Must have a clear out sometime.) Inside was the 2nd mount and some spare elastics! Saved myself Β£8.00. Now what upgrade will that buy? Ah yes, personalised name stickers for the frame - sorted!

Don't you have trouble seeing it sometimes? Oh come on, I can check my front cogs and rear cassette if needs be, at both top and bottom speeds to see where I'm at in the gear range as a reminder if I've been daydreaming sometimes, I've even done the hooking the chain back on with your right hand at pace recently, so looking at the stem is not a problem - you wouldn't even need to move your head. I read this on one of the sites reviewing them and had to laugh, there's some funny justifications put out on the internet sometimes, it might be marginally more convenient but that's about it ... it does of course look dead slick.

I can see the unit no problem at all. It is reading the numbers sometimes thats the problem, maybe its the position of the sun or the fact that on a course I have it on fast page turn (I find that if I dont I can miss turnings).I just think it will be easier to read in front of me and yes it does look cool.

Just thought maybe I need to turn the backlight up a bit? If it works I am still going to get another mount though.

I think you can alter the contrast as well.

Adjusted the contrast and had a mess with the back light, I can now read it no problem at all.

I've got new Deda Carbon spacers but have an issue with the old spacers being non standard dims due to the clamp one being wider than normal to resolve, got a temp fix but it's not quite right yet and I'll be progressing it further ... I have a new concept to refine the front end in terms of fit and bling kit that I'm working on ... then the mount will follow.
