I,m using it to track whether I'm getting any fitter or not. It would be interesting to see what kind of mileage people are doing on their tribans..............

Speaking of which. Can I just get a quick line of what device everyone is using? My C14+ is back for probing at Decathlon but I think I may invest in a gps unit.
I want to start using Strava so, which device?

I want to start using Strava so, which device? funny you mention that, mine started playing up again earlier in the week, intermittently cutting out speed/cadence sensor but hr remained, it would kick back in after 10-15 seconds but quite annoying, thing is it was nowhere near moisture so im a bit concerned

If you confirm yours dies than I think I may give up on btwin electronics. O had the same issue but his fixed up. I spent time here and there two weeks trying to get it to work and then just knew it can't be me screwing it up. Emailed them, posted back today. I'll see what they say. It is annoying as heck especially on a nice long sunday ride out but I'm off the bike for a few weeks so want something to be ready when I return.
I hate to be a 'you get what you paid for' kind of person here but with gps, I don't want to take any chances so I think it's Garmin or nothing. However, I await input from others.

I'm just using my smart phone at the moment. Don't know how accurate it is but seems to tally up with my b'twin 8 function bike computer in terms of max speed and average speed etc.....not got a cadence sensor device yet as I'm still quite new to the road bike scene.........but it's all good so far!

Some impressive millage martin.
I can't see using my smartphone for Strava, actually don't think there is a Strava app for mine. Either way doubt battery would last and chance I'll break it lol.
Dedicated unit I think it will have to be but with a HR strap and cadence/speed sensor, it's going to add up :/

I use the Android app. It's OK but if you look at the maps closely, the route doesn't always follow the roads very accurately. Tonight's ride shows me trundling through people's gardens and the woods on Weald Common. app.strava.com/activities/68283629Quite a few people post their rides in the "Who's getting out there?" thread. The Triban Owners Club on Strava is at app.strava.com/clubs/triban-owners

Oh I would definitely get a dedicated unit in the future. I hadn't considered the Cadence sensor until I started waffling on here. Now I'm intrigued. I can see this adding up too. I'll justify my spending to the dragon on the money saved fuelling my car ha ha!
