Hi from Livingston area, sounds good to meet others with a good taste in bikes, only problem being I am very new and slow to using a road bike, but I have signed up for the Glasgow to Edinburgh Pedal for Scotland, so will need to do some miles.

Nice one mate, got a few scottish lads but only a few seem up for a meet up but that's all you really need, just spotted @randomchoice is from the burgh we'll need to see if they fancy a bash too. I reckon my first go at it would be early september.

Living in the east I have mainly done routes in the east. Up round penicuik has some nice routes and dare I say it if you have a MTB the pentland hills is good for some hill training. My goal for next year is to do the etape caledonia which is supposedly a really nice tour of perthshire. I had planned doing the edinburgh to glasgow but I am at the leuchars airshow so will have to miss it.

Maybe one of the other guys can confirn/shoot me down for saying silly things?

Its the 7th of september and this is the last ever one as it is becoming an army base. So would recommend you try and get to it if you can
