Well....I FINALLY got through to the Southampton store...and they've reserved one for me for three days. So now I've just got to do my 160 mile round trip tomorrow to go and test and collect it. Oh how the Mrs is not going to be happy with me!!! On that note, as I am getting one tomorrow, are the tyres it comes with total tripe and best not to go to far on them?? If it makes you feel better, I had to drive from Gloucester to Reading last night to pick my T3 up...160 mile round trip, and I was properly in the dog house! Totally worth it though

Totally worth it though Haha yeah that does make me feel a little bit better!! I so would have gone for a t3...but I just can't stand the red, so happy to spend an extra 130 just to get a nicer colour!! Excited?! Excited?! I will be in bed tonight like a kid at Christmas, in the car by 8am and there by half 9! Fitted and out the door by 10, home by 11:30! Get changed, and off out I go at blistering speed (probably around 10mph) on my new streamline steed! Any advise on necessary accessories to become a roadie? I've got: Helmet Oakleys Gloves Shorts Tops SPD shoes (No pedals?!?!) Saddlebag / tools I would presume I would need: decent pump, track pump maybe? Spare tubes (by the bucketload with non Kevlar tyres) Anything else?!

I have literally NO accessories Hoping Tesco Extra has a few inner tubes in stock tonight as I’m off out for the T3’s maiden ride with Rad tomorrow morning, so I don’t want to get a puncture miles from home! I could barely afford the bike, so accessories will have to come as and when I can afford them, which is unfortunate. I was a bit “hmm..not sure about the red”, after I’d committed to buying it, but having seen it in the flesh last night for the first time, my worries disappeared immediately as it looks absolutely awesome!

You'll definitely want to get some pedals pretty soon, if not immediately.
The wellgo Look rip-off I got with my T7 get slated but I've found them fine. I will upgrade though.
(Look Keo Easy's on sale at Decathlon at the moment).

Well I have a MTB and have been slowly adding more and more gear. Ended up in the lidl sale today and picked up 2 computers, rain jacket, gloves and socks lol. All in preparation for tomorrow which I didn't think was going to happen!! I just really don't like anything red, especially traffic lights! I am much happier going for black with a better groupset just to avoid the red lol Pedals pedals pedals, I might stick with stock until next month when I have some more money, however with a stag weekend, disney land and a wedding coming up, I am going to be skint!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh I am probably going to spend more money than I can afford on accessories and stuff in Decathlon!!!!

Definitely get the pedals and have them fit them for you. Sounds like you've got everything else covered. Be prepared to fall over at some point.

Although my shoes are only MTB SPD, not SPD-SL or what not. So I will need shoes as well. God, I don't want to spend over 500

Happy days. The RED is extremely fast so maybe you can "upgrade" at a later date. lol

A mate of mine MTB's and road rides and has specialized shoes and MTB shimano clipless pedals on his road bike and MTB...I liked the idea because the clip on the shoe was recessed so if you wanted to get off and walk or were at the pub en route, they are easier to walk in...but then I read it's against the rules to fit MTB pedals, so won't be going there
