I use GT85 all the time, spray on wipe off cleans and lubricates in one. Downside it does wash off in heavy rain so I might use some bike oil as well in bad weather. It's £2.99 in Asda

Does anyone know if the toolkit is any good? Has it got everything needed for the common T3 jobs, ie, hub greasing, changing cassette and chain, bottom bracket etc?

The wireless computers are fantastic, think my last one was something like £7, blows the pants off my £20 decathlon one!! alright chumster hows the bike feeling these days? Alright Zoltster, sorry, missed this post, been very busy last couple of months & not followed the forums much. Yes, it feels better but don't think I'll ever really get on with the drop part of the bars. I feel there could be a much better design of bar to the standard & long-reigning drop design - think motoGP bar position but a little more swept back & a little more angled down along with integrated "hood" position.

Really wanted to be in peak condition for this time of the year but it ain't gonna happen!!

I popped into the Aldi in Leigh on my way home from a friends as they were putting all the bike stuff out. Great! had first pickings of everything! At least until the manager told me that they couldn't put anything through the till until Sunday!! I cant get there first thing today, so they've probably lost a sale

Been into Aldi, Radford Boulevard in Nottingham and they had loads of everything that was advertised.
Brought home a pannier rack and a wireless comp.

1st in the store and through the checkout with a pump stand and tool kit! Get innnnn !!!! Well done! Asked this the other day but no reply. Has the toolkit got everything needed for the common T3 jobs, ie, hub greasing, changing cassette and chain, changing bottom bracket to Hollowtech etc? PS - surely that £6 floor pump can't be much good. Anyone tried it?

If its like the Lidl one it'll have just about everything, there are probably a few tools you'll need to buy seperately.

I went last night too and couldn't grab anything too. I've just managed to go this morning and pick up the work stand although they didn't have the tool kit at mine, gutted! For anyone who was wondering about the Aldi bike stand, it does have a handlebar support attachment to secure the bike.
