The stand looks very similar to the one form Lidl, if so it's great value at £30. If you check the site again in a few days it will have the full list plus prices as the specials are every Thursday and Sunday. Cheers goffski

I so need a bike stand and £30 is cheap compared to the price of £60 and £70 in Decathlon, don't even mention Halfords. Anyone actually bought one of these stands before? Good value for money?

I've seen the one in Lidl, which I'm sure are near enough the same as this one and it looked like decent build. I didn't buy it at the time as I thought it would not be necessary but boy was I wrong. The amount of times my T3 has hit me on the head when I'm trying to oil the chain

I now have three bikes in the house - it was four at one time! Need to get a stand. The problem is sometimes my Aldi dont get all the bike stuff when there's a sale. This time I intend to be there in the morning. Just set the alarm on my phone!

Really good tip is go down 15mins before closing the night before - they will be putting the stuff out and this is when I browse at my leisure and get any goodies I need.

The stand looks like the most interesting of what they're showing so far. Would love it if they were to do a woman's specific saddle this time. I purchased a Specialized saddle for my wife , she had to sit on a mat thing to measure her sit bones & that gave a saddle size & then the choice was the type of cycling she wished to do , the saddle can be returned if not suitable or what ever & another tried .I can't remember the time scale for returning

I have however lucked out on the BioFlex Ladies Ozone that Wiggle sell for £20, have a much happier rear end.

Any comments on the use of GT85? I tried to ask some cyclists previously and I nearly started a fight between those in favor and against. Can it be used as a lubricant replacement for a chain? I would think to thin? If not, what else is it good for? It's available on Sunday but doesn't look like it's cheaper than normal.

GT85 - not really for lubricating anything long term, it will do for a short while but more of a cleaning aid.
It's good for that, last used by me to squirt into the stem top when I opened it up and then rubbed back out with all the gritty residue in there before applying some grease.
Similarly, sometimes squirted into gaps almost everywhere on the bike to ease things up and rub over with a cloth before using polish or lubes.
Avoid rims and brake blocks, polishes things well sometimes (original seat for example).
