My count 14 has stopped working inexplicably.
I start a new session without a problem but it doesn't display any data. Everything stays on zero. Now I'm not a great cyclist but I'm pretty sure I'm moving!
The computer must be detecting the sensors as it doesn't display an error message but I'm getting no feedback at all.
I've repositioned everything but no joy.
Any ideas?

o, i'm sure you've done this but you've checked the magnet and sensor distance is close enough?
Are all the values zero? Speed, distance and cadence? Do you have heart strap? Does that show zero?
Have you got enough memory on the computer? Even though I would think it still should display, try deleting some rides and make sure there is memory available.
Lastly, have you tried resetting the battery on the device and sensors?

Speed, cadence, distance all remained zero over 10 miles. No HR strap.
Plenty of memory remaining.
I've repositioned the magnets and sensors but haven't tried resetting the battery. Will give that a go. Cheers.

any luck howie?
i was using mine on the turbo the other day and it lost speed, read -- - rather than 00 oo if you get my meaning only thing i can think is ive sweated on to it as i checked the magnets and the sensor positions etc etc even changed the battery but it niggled away for a couple of days then its been fine, so its the only thing i can think of, ive got a silicone jacket for it but they are purely cosmetic and offer no real protection
let me know though, after my recent experiences with btwin computers im a little on edge with them

Well it worked perfectly for my ride this morning...
Just a glitch perhaps but I'm getting a bit nervy over it now.

It sounds like a right crock. I'm steering clear

Up until then it worked flawlessly and I'm still very impressed for the price.

Well it worked perfectly for my ride this morning... Just a glitch perhaps but I'm getting a bit nervy over it now. My store did an exchange on my Sigma 1609STS. Can't remember what happened to it - stop working I think - well it had to eh? They just exchanged it for another, sorted. Take it back.

I had the same problem out today on a 40mile ride. About 10 miles in I noticed no speed was being measured. Thinking the sensor had bounced out of place, I nudged it even closer to the magnet. It was fine again but for the rest of the ride it was very intermittent. I lost about 5 miles worth of recording time.
I'm not sure now what it is. I checked the battery for the speed sensor and the green indicator comes on. Hope this is not the start of things to come. Other than this one time, I've not had such a problem before and really like the count14+.

Mine's been fine since the original problem which I now know was water related.

I can't recall, is the cycle computer/sensor waterproof? It did get ever so slightly drizzled on last week. Either way, I'll try it for my commute tomorrow see what's happening.

ohoward, has your C14+ been ok since? I don't know what it is but mine is doing near enough the same thing, well for nearly two weeks now and I'm about to chuck it in the bin after praising this little device so much since I bought it.
The computer picks up the speed/cadence sensor. My heart rate strap is picked up but as the bike moves, it does not record any speed! Displays 00 as if the magnet is not moving.
I've reset both the computer and the sensor, changed both batteries and deleted all old rides but still nothing. Repositioned the magnet and can hear the relay closing. The odd thing is, when I pedal, the cadence seems to be getting to the unit as the average cadence varies but I get no indication of speed.
So annoyed with it. Only 2 or so months old.

Hello mate, I haven't had a problem with mine since. I can't really give you any advice beyond what youv'e already done either because mine just started working again which convinced me it was to do with water. It'll be a shame if you have to bin it as it's a good little bit of kit.

I'll see if Dec/btwin have a reply for me. Maybe I can get a replacement sensor although I can't find my receipt.
Cheers O, hope yours has a long life lol
