Can't believe how high your seat post is - how tall are you and what size frame ?

I'm liking that, the black wheels/saddle/bar tape, kinda' the opposite to mine.

Can't believe how high your seat post is - how tall are you and what size frame ? Im 5ft 11.5 and its a 57cm frame, on the stem there's some measurement markers look like there in cm's and mine is on 2.5 whatever that is supposed to represent, i did wonder if i had got the right size but btwin size charts correct and it feels ok doesn't feel like im cramped. It looks a bit deceptive when you drop to eye level is not so bad.

andsaw, Im the same height as you, and have proportional upper body and leg length (32 inch inside leg). I'm on a 60cm frame and IMO your seat post is way too high and the drop to the bars is too far. If it works for you, then great. I ride a 56/58 on most other brands , but the thing to remember on the Triban is that with the Compact frame design it has a virtual top tube which is typically 4 cm above standard geometry. I was lucky enough to buy my bike in store and hence tried a 57 thinking it would be spot on for me. But I would say anyone approaching 6 foot is better off on the 60cm frame. Have you taped your bike computer to your seat stays and mounted the sensor on the rear rim, a more conventional set up would be to put the sensor the front of the fork and the head unit of the stem or bars. P.S Love the wheels cant wait to get my R5OOs on

Haha, i have taped my computer because its on a turbo trainer at the moment and its too far away to get a reading when its on the handlebars lol, it would be too late now to exchange it to a bigger size, and i got the R500 30's, i though with the extra depth they would be more stable and hopefully stay truer for longer.

Andsaw, I get it , you must be very flexible to bend down and read that whilst your on a Turbo, at least your not trying it on rollers. Did you order your bike on line. you could probably go into decathlon and ask the question, there customer services in my experience is pretty hot. However if your comfortable on the bike, and the seat post isnt past its minimum insertion point then dont worry. I ve got standard rR501s and have now fitted Vittora Rubino slicks, god they'res no grip on them, Sunday should be interesting.

I wish i was that flexible, i don't bother looking till i have finished lol, i just ordered a Vittoria Zaffiro Home Trainer Tyre to stick on the other wheel which iv just stripped cleaned and re-greased the hub, hope its ok, i bought in store and not having a racer since i was 16-17 the guy in store said that's the one for me after eyeing me up (not that way) and not knowing how it was supposed to fit me, and 3cm isn't that much, it just felt weird at first after riding a MTB, i might try a different handlebar stem see if that makes any difference.

Yes nice bike but I'm 6'2" and went for the 60cm frame which is fine for me After I phoned up and spoke to some french girl at Decathon she recommended the 60 frame as I was going to order the 57cm glad I didn't now. Regards Antnee
