Wishing all who sail on the BTWIN site a healthy and safe 2021. These last few months have been challenging that's for sure! I have been truly grateful to get out on my bike(s) almost every day. This has helped to clear my head at least for wee while. I'm glad to see this group is still passing on the message and encouraging new folks and old timers like myself to get out and enjoy our two wheeled companions. My hopes and prayers are it wont be long before we can get back to some sort of normality, oh and have less visits from the puncture fairy. Thanks for listening...

I quite agree with your thoughts, it has been a strange 2020, i myself retired at the end of April 20, was looking forward to luxury holiday in the sun, but instead i ended up riding around this lovely County of Norfolk, my plans for four Sportives ended up with only one completed thanks to the "Rona", as the kids around here calls it. My fitness levels i thought were going to suffer over this winter period, so i took a leaf out of Rocket's book and bought a Turbo Trainer, then the Cadence sensor, heart monitor idea is firmly planted on the wife's Amazon account wish list π, i would not have got any of this, or as far, but for the information on this site and it's members, and all because i bought a Red bicycle called a B'Twin (lowercase) T3 and joined the Forum. Now as far as the Sportives are concerned, 3 rides were carried over from last year and i only have to book and pay for the Autumn one, and no i will not be doing the 200 mile Ride around Norfolk this year, maybe next year? if i am fit enough. Just wishing, π€, that we have a fantastic and better 2021 for all Forum members far and wide.

Nicely put Robert π & we can only hope things improve Mel .. turbo trainer π₯΅ . HNY π Getting used to this TT thing, as i told the wife, today i cycled somewhere in Germany for about 50 minutes, then had a trip down a lane in Italy, so i had about an hour and a half today.
I have tried the GCN training videos, Manon Lloyd heavy breathing in my headphones, o err missus , but i am getting my head around it, the HIT videos makes me sweat a bit, but that is a good thing yes? the only problem is the COOSPO Cadence unit, somtimes the Wahoo App picks it up and then the next day it cannot find it, yet the laptop picks it up at 92%, at least i know my cadence is between 77 and 81 revs. Going to try and do at least an hour or two each day, and i am usuing the Mavic tyres that came with the Ultra, might as well use them up as they are to dangerous for the roads, at least if i get a flat i am not far from home .....
Christmas weight 15st 5lbs......now just 15st........perhaps this should go in "The Mass Minimiser" thread.
