Have been umming and ahhing about getting a new bike as I turned 40 this year, but in the end decided to upgrade my t3. Bike had been in the garage for about 9 months not being used as I've been running more than cycling recently. Upgrades to 105 and new wheels have made such a difference, like getting a new bike anyway! Took her out for an hour yesterday and was lovely to be back on the bike.

I was hoping to get a glimpse from your photo of my old derailleur and cassette but actually it looks much better with 105 and you are right. The upgrades make the T3 feel like a different bike. It's good to read your post. There arn't many of us using this forum nowadays.

Does feel like new. Am looking forward to getting the miles in this summer!

The freehub died on it a while back so it's just been in the shed, wheel-less. The bike I use for commuting is practical, but it's just too heavy, so I want to switch to the T3a. It's good to see you are getting the use of yours Marc.
