Following on from me losing my saddlebag a few days ago I need to replace the multi-tool that was in it.
What are you using? What do you like about it? Have you had any that you wouldn't recommend?
Thanks.

What did you go for Rocket? Just realised I lost my saddle bag on the Col de l'Iseran yesterday. Any tips for a saddle bag as well? I was using the Scicon Elan 210 which I was happy with for 4 years until it fell off.

I'm thinking of either the Topeak Hexus ii as Karen has one and it's good or the Topeak Hexus X which is very cheap right now. Replacement saddlebag was another Crivit one from Lidl that I had in stock.

Ordered a small Topeak Aero Wedge from Amazon for 9β¬. Bigger than my old bag so should be able to fit in my old Btwin multitool and mini Park chain breaker. Reluctant to spend money on new stuff as on reflection I had never used the previous multitool in anger!

I have several multitools but very rarely use them. So very difficult to recommend. I have one sat infront of me that came with a Lidl saddle bag. It weighs a ton, so gave it to one of my sons to have at university for his 2-3 mile commute. He never carried it and just kept it at home.
I have another which has a chain breaker. Again, too heavy to carry around all the time. I use the chainbreaker instead
I carry a cheap Lezyne one on one bike, a BTwin one on another and a Topeak one on the third.

Topeak Hexus X arrived today from Wiggle with no Haribo. Looks well made, fairly light and no sharp external edges. Probably never even need to use it just like the one I lost. Other people used it quite a bit though.
