Hi, I bought the Tilt 500 last week, to do 4.5 miles each way to work. I had an other fold up before it and was pretty capable of keeping up with nearly all bikes, racers etc. but with the Tilt 500, I am struggling, as the ratio seems too limited. Even in the top gear, 14 teeth with 52 on front, my leg speed is crazy if you want to get a high speed out of the bike. I've looked in to swapping the cassette, but it seems that you can't get lower than 14 with major changes, but was hoping to get at least a 12 tooth cassette on if possible. Does anyone know what is possible? Thanks www.decathlon.co.uk/tilt-500-folding-bike-yellow-id_8500545.html

Not sure if this the same one but i did see a note in the Belfast store recalling bikes that looked similar to yours. Hope I'm wrong but you could check it out.

You can then fit a 12/28 7 speed cassette with a spacer
