Hi, I'm new to this forum, which I have joined because of a link someone put on Amazon when I googled 'cycling goggles that go over glasses'. I seem to get sore skin around my eyes wearing my normal glasses when cycling. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Hi there , I wear glasses & get the usual probs of rain drops & misting up ect ect but not soreness around the eyes βΉ is this from the pressure of the glasses or a climate issue π€.

WelcomePrescription (cycling specific) shades etc., readily available at most opticians quite a few options on the inter web.

I've gone for photochromic sports lenses with prescription inserts. If the prescription changes, I can shop around for the cheapest replacement without having to purchase a complete pair of glasses. Likewise, if the glasses get damaged, I won't have to pay for new prescription lenses. I got mine from Optilabs but I think you can pay a lot less if you're happy to buy online.

I too use varifocals and for several years just rode wearing my regular glasses or prescription sunglasses that only have my long range prescription so i couldn't see anything close up like my Garmin. Earlier this year (2018) I took the plunge and bought these. www.optilabs.com/product/horizon/The inserts have my varifocal prescription. They are plastic and I wasn't expecting anything special but I have to say that I really cannot fault them from the vision point of view once I got the frame sitting in the correct position. I used to carry my main glasses to use at coffee stops etc but I don't bother now as the Horizons are that good. I find they give enough wind protection and I have had no problems with misting.

I've got a pair of these, which are excellent for sunny days, but I would like something for non-sunny days, rather than just wearing normal glasses. Ideally, I would loove a pair of Oakleys with two sets of lenses, but this looks really expensive. Really expensive.

As i wear glasses now, i used my local "Eyeman", he got me these sports glasses with a prescription lens and 4 coloured lens from a company called "Eyelevel", cost me about 50 quid, will put photo's up later as i am at work. Some of the lads have bought from tinterweb, i would imagine if you do a search on here you could find a link.
