Hi there,

I'm about to buy a new bike and alas My Triban 520 will have to go - still a fine bike, but I've become something of a steel convert and I'm looking at a Condor Fratello. I was thinking of selling it on gumtree and wondered how much I could reasonably ask for it?

I've upgraded the bars and bar tape, M520 SPDs, SKS guards, Fulcrum 7s with 28MM Duranos and wondered what I could reasonably ask for it. I live in Edinburgh so it's a reasonably well populated area. Very good condition with a recent service.

Any advice on pricing would be hugely appreciated!

I've no idea what second hand models are going for (have you checked eBay, Gumtree?) but if i was buying, I'd probably be looking to get it for around £200 if it was in good condition.

I'd be considering the original cost (£450, with the flat bar variant still available for £420) as well as the price of the next model down (the latest 500 is £350, the older 500se is, what, under £300?)

I might be well out, so don't take this as gospel.
