Happy New Year all!
Does anyone know or heard what BTwin will be releasing for the year ahead. I recall talk last year of a Cross/Adventure bike, but had thought we might have heard some more news by now.
I also expect at least one CF to replace the Ultra 720, 900, and 920 and note that the 720 has been out of stock for a while now, which would generally indicate that at least one new model is due for release soon.

I've not seen anything advertised. Thought the only change this year was the introduction of the 500 AFGF and both AFGFs being in store rather than online only.

I recall an all purpose bike being mentioned for launch in the spring with disc brakes, a 1x drivetrain and mounts for mudguards/luggage. It was in the comments section of an article on the AFGFs in response to the criticism of those bikes being road based and not all purpose. I thought it was in the comments section for this article on road.cc this time last year, but I can't see it there anymore: road.cc/content/tech-news/215502-exclusive-sneak-peek-btwin-ultra-af-gf

There is a comment on the Decathlon website about a review of the afgf 520 but I have no more information than that.

This is a positive review and if I was in the market for a winter bike it could be on my list. The comment about disc brakes is so true. I just hate the grinding noise I get from the rim brakes on the T3. Despite having mudguards, it's nigh on impossible to prevent grit getting imbedded in the pads. I take the pads off after every ride these days and clean the surfaces to try to prevent damage to the rims but it's a losing battle.
However, why on earth do B'Twin have to announce "Flat Mount Disc Brakes" on the chainstays and "Carbon" on the forks? Not cool in my opinion and it might put me off buying. It's bad enough having the "carbon" logos on the T3's forks but at least the lettering is fairly discrete. Logos are not B'Twin's strong suit. Remember the internal cable rounting spelling mistake on the Alur? Perhaps I am too pedantic.

I read cycling weekly, I do find it a good read, but I have never read a bad review in any magazine of any subject. you have to take from the review what you can and do more research. magazines have a vested interest, if they give a poor review, the manufacturers will not give them more products in the future to review. I am sure it is a decent real world bike though, given the spec against price. it does make a nice change to read a review of a real world bike, as most of us would not spend £8000 on a bike, although we would like too.

First I've seen of them, I'm off this week and seem to have missed lots (went shopping last night with my son for outdoor kit and a few new models have arrived in store). I look forward to getting more details, I might have to start saving

Yeah I agree very nice bike, not a lover of the blue but I certainly could live with it. I've a set of the Zonda currently on my T3 great wheels!
