Hi all. After some new shoes since my faithful dhb mountain bike shoes are on last legs. Unfortunately dhb have stopped selling mountain bike shoes. Yes I wear mtb shoes for everything; commuting, road bike and TT bike - they are way more practical and I can walk in them to office and saves me having different shoes for different bikes.
Anyway been looking at btwin 900 Aerofit mountain bike shoes (they look v v similar to the road bike version). - anyone used these? Any reviews? Cheers!

I use the road versions and LOVE them. If I buy new shoes, I'd buy them again.

Slightly confusing - on Btwin site - they are called 900 aerofit....on decathalon they are called 700 carbon mountain shoe - same shoe different names! B'twin seem to think it's a good idea to change the numbers every year or two, Ultra 700af now 900af, Triban 3 became 300 then 500 etc, sometimes there are differences sometimes not. Like r0b1et I've got an earlier model of the road version and love them, tightening the boa's is still a pleasure For a touring spd shoe I've got the mo89's for the understated look (and they were Β£30 in a special deal one bank holiday from Half**ds) and find them really comfortable for walking and fine cycling. I was looking at the RT82's but couldn't justify the price for the amount I'd use them as I use spd sl most of the time and have more aggressive mtb shoes with studs for cx. As ever with shoes it's really all down to the fit.

Shoes online always bit of issue due to fit as you say. I want a fairly stiff pair as use them for all my cycling and racing. Really want Btwin ones but no stock! Set up email alert but btwin stock can be bit hit and miss! Fingers crossed
