Looks like you're right by the finish line RobP ... nice! Yep, normally go for Block M when possible at Manchester although to be fair there are no bad seats anyway.

I was parked up at ASDA (next door) earlier this week, RobP . My daughter had an interview at the Etihad Stadium so I popped into Decca which is in the same building as ASDA. I ended up ordering a Triban 520 for her to replace the stolen Triban 3 so will be picking that up at the weekend. We are stopping at the Travelodge just over a mile away.

We normally park at that Asda and also go in there each morning to grab stuff for lunch as unlike London, Manchester is fine with you taking food in. The signs direct you to go a park over at the Etihad but we ignore them as the Asda is used for event staff parking and there is usually an old boy in Hi Vis watching the cars too. We normally give him a few quid and he is happy for us to park near the petrol station Stopping at the Premier Inn, Denton about 10mins drive away

We'll probably walk there looking at the distance. The curry mile was worth a visit while we were waiting for the interviews to end.

Womens sprint titles will be all up for grabs now.
Still favour Katie Archibald as favorite for womens endurance events. Just finished 2nd to world champion in berlin 6 day
No sure in who will get mens endurance titles now but think mens sprints will be between matt Rotherham and Lewis Oliva

I rode with Matt Rotherham on an 80 mile club ride. I beat him up hill and I beat him downhill. The flats inbetween were not as successful

demonkarlos everybody I know who tried one of those Aldi fluid trainers took it straight back after their first go. The roller that the tyre works on is made from very soft plastic and they were wearing grooves in it in as little as 30 minutes. Hope you fare better but I'd start asking if the receipt is around... Only just used the turbo fit the first time today... Did 35 mins, burned a sizeable groove into the cylinder. I'm fit, but I'm no Ed Clancy! Have emailed their customer support address with pics.
