Santa was very kind to me this year but I do feel defensive about it as I'm more than happy with my 2 jersey's at £4.99 & £18 a throw that I purchased soon after getting my bike. I just wanted a taste of the high end on a product that would give me more foul weather protection (see what I did there ). I got treated to a Castelli Convertible Perfetto and free socks. I'm sure thats my lot at this end of the market, now I'll wait and see if it lives up to the hype. I also got some be seen lights with flashing mode (Nima from Cateye) and a Tea mug with a cycling theme. I hope you had a great xmas and Happy New Year to you all...

I got a massive 6l Carradice saddle bag (which is awesome... got used today, and will tomorrow - plenty of space for more clothes, more food and batteries).
And Endura gift set...that I thought would eb a bit naff, but having worn the socks and hat today... I may buy myself more!
And a new Castelli speed suit ordered in the new club colours.

Nothing bike related but a bottle of Laphroaig and a family sized Toblerone will see me nicely into the new year.

A nice relaxed Christmas with plenty of washing up to do. My reward for all the domestic duties is a weekend ticket and hotel accommodation for the British Cycling National Track Championships in Manchester at the end of January. www.britishcycling.org.uk/britishtrackchampionships?c=EN

Bike wise - new gloves, sh56 cleats, castelli base layer all from my wife. And today an Oi bell from my brother in law. Recent birthday and Christmas, I've also acquired 45 quid in Decathlon vouchers.

Lots of bits from Decathlon (unsurprisingly) - a simple cycle computer, new helmet, bottle and holder. Plus a pair of those sunglasses with loads of interchangeable lenses, and a Charge Spoon saddle which is much nicer for my backside than the stock 500SE saddle!

I got a Carradice too, a handlebar bag, bargain from their factory seconds eBay site. I also got a buff, lovely merino socks, mark Beaufort's book about cycling round the world, and a book of core strength exercises. Must have been a very good boy this year.
