Hello. As a long time forum lurker and having recently bought a Triban 500 I thought it about time I joined and made myself known. So hello fellow Btwin owners, The Fulcrum R7s came off my other bike as they are shod with 25mm Gatorskins, which are my tyre of choice this time of year what with hedge cutting and general muck on the lanes where I like to ride.

Nice looking bike, that stand comes in handy too (where you get it from). I've gone for a pair of GP 4 Seasons for winter, hopefully they will be as good as t he Gators.

Plus the GP's were on offer for Β£25 each and the Gators were normal price.

I'll never ride a gatorskin again, others love them (but I'd argue they should try a try with grip - For me, I'd lose time with gators - sure I'd spend less time fixing flats, and more time fixing road rash).

I think the GP Seasons are still pretty tough compared to other tyres, just not as tough as the Gatorskins. My old housemate used to get some Michelin tyres and he used to get a puncture every month I swear. Hopefully mine will last the winter at least!

My old housemate used to get some Michelin tyres and he used to get a p******* every month I swear. Hopefully mine will last the winter at least! depends on the tyre, you'd not want to run a mich race 3 in winter. That said, the Mich endurance seem to match 4 seasons to me - no complaints at all and a lot cheaper.
