Who has tried any? I've had a few from eBay and Ali and although half the price they lasted less than half the use of genuine Shimano. On one set the rubber bits fell off on my first walk to my garage to get my bike. It's annoying how expensive Shimano ones are but I've found it is false economy to use anything else.
I remember a few on here got some Wiggle LifeLine ones so let's have a review please.

I stick with the Shimano's, tried the ebay ones and like you say don't last very long. Also found the rubber bits were just plastic so no grip at all with them.
This post has reminded me that i need to order some news ones.

Tried some off eBay recently, never again. All the yellow rubber fell off within a couple of days, which reduced the life of the cleats significantly (they lasted about a third as long as a Shimano set). Back on genuine Shimano now. Worth paying that bit extra I think.

These look exactly the same as some Exustar ones I'm using at the moment. The black "pads" are really just a bit of paint. This seems to make them more hard wearing. You don't get the same reassuring click when you clip in so you're not always sure everything's secure. I've found this an acceptable compromise for the price.

Just ordered some Shimano ones from Decathlon at £10.99 less a £5 voucher so even more of a bargain, thanks for the heads up. Wouldn't trust no names as I have enough trouble clipping in with the pukka stuff!

I'm due some more cleats and stumbled across those Wiggle lifeline cleats. I was interested to see if anyone has got experience of them, At £5.69 they initially look like they are a bargain. Some of the Wiggle reviews are mixed, said me state these can be really slippy to walk in, other state they are even better than genuine Shimano's. www.wiggle.co.uk/lifeline-road-pedal-cleats-shimano-spd-sl-compatible/

To be fair, I don't think they look too bad karma846 compared to my Shimanos. I'd say mine lasted 2000 miles, about 8 months, from March until November'ish. For £5-£6 it's hardly a life changing no purchase. I'm going to give them a chance.
