Currently overhauling my rear hub on my Triban 3 red. Wheels are original decathlon wheels but cone nuts badly worn. Does anyone know what type of hubs were fitted to the triban three wheels or what type of cone nut I need as there seems to be a plethora of different ones on the internet and any help would be gratefully received. Also when taking the ball bearings out to clean I noticed one side had eight and the other nine. Is it normal to have an old number as this is the first time I have stripped a hub

They are Formula hubs, I can't really help any more as we just replace faulty wheels and don't stock any spares. This has come up before on here and you can search but basically if the cones are shot chances are you've worn through the case hardening on the cups as well so may as well pack with grease put back together and start looking for replacement wheels.

Many thanks, went to planet bike today and they managed to get me some nuts. Have reassembled and seems quieter although think I will have to bite bullet and buy new wheels in not to distant future
