OK keyboard physios. Almost weekly my left hamstring is strained. Only the left. Right up the back of the leg. I cycle and I walk. What should I be looking out for?
Usually I feel the strain at the start of the week if I've gotten a few rides in over the weekend. Saddle height seems likliest but right leg unaffected. I still suspect I am sat too far back on the saddle but have yet to obtain a straight up seat post to test.
Anything obvious? I do stretch it out a few times a week these days as it has almost become normal.

Had similar. Stretch 3 times a day not a week. Legs straight and hands flat on floor then grab back of calves and pull right down til you cry. Working for me. If you lower your seat to relieve the pain then your knees will not thank you.

Slight stretching and rest, rest, rest. A while back, I made the idiotic mistake of running a half Marathon with a pulled hamstring. No, just no!!

Been stretching more regularly but still tight on Monday after a 130 odd mile week. Time is a healer I suppose.
