Nice looking machine. Pedals I like Look Keo Classic and although have not got them fitted to my T3a the reviews for Continental GP4000s ii tyres are excellent... That white bar tape will take some keeping clean though

Bike looks great, love the deep rims and the white bar tape finishes off nicely. Often gets mentioned about keeping it clean, it's no big deal just give it a wipe down, once it starts to look a little grubby wrap some new tape. I'll second the Continental GP4000s ii, great tyres. There's possibly lighter tyres out there but only by a few grams here and there. I use Ultegra pedals, not the cheapest pedals but pretty good, again these will only save a few grams.

mark072 and goffski, I had already heard of these continental gp4000, what do you think about Michelin pro4 ? More or less the same weight but are slightly cheaper. for now I have had patience to clean it from time to time hahaha

I've got Pro 4's on the summer bike with white walls. I've found that where the coloured rubber meets the black the rubber will perish after about 3k miles, this had happened on two set so far, i'm currently on my third. I'm running the GP4000s ii on my winter bike at the min and they've been great so far but not done 3k on them yet.

I'm not mentioning my tyres, luckily I have a fresh set waiting, as they've gone up to a less attractive price level !

I like Pro 4s but they don't age well. Don't ask me the mileage but there is plenty of tread left on these. They are just looking so tired. (no pun intended). I am thing of changing to Schwalbe Ones but really want to upgrade the wheels first.

hang on, there's a bunch of different pro4s... which ones are we talking about? 3K out of service course strikes me as good for what is a race tyre, but would be poor for the endurance.

Mine are SC, plenty of tread but the walls of them had gone.

Coloured tyres are generally worse in every sense from my experience, apart from looking bling at the beginning. I'm happy with my 25mm Pro 4 SC, managed to buy 4 for β¬50 on an exceptional deal from Deca last year. Next up will be the new Michelin Power when they become available.
