Full 105 compact 11 speeed. I cheaped out a little on the wheels, but they are only to see me through till summer. Fulcrum Racing 7 and new Schwalbe Lugano 25c rubber.

That looks really good. I am hoping to do something similar. Was going to change groupset for tiagra but have seen 105 at a good price so might hang on a little longer for that. I went Shimano 501s for the wheels but again will upgrade in time. Will miss the blue microshift hoods though.

What the Fulcrum 7's like have you tried them?

I've got a set of Fulcrum 7s on mine, broke a rear spoke after a thousand miles and had it repaired under warranty, since then faultless having covered another 2 thousand miles.

I know some people have had issues with fulcrum bearings etc, but my 7s are passed 6,000km now, and they are still true and buttery smooth running - despite that being the winter bike.
I'm pretty light though, so don't give them the punishment some folk will.

Enjoyed my Fulcrum 7's for the 2000 miles they lasted. Noticably lighter than r501's. A well sorted looking bike.

Only done 200 miles or so on them, but they are butter smooth compared to the original and have a very pleasant hum to then while free wheeling.
The 25c tires are also noticeably more comfy.
The 105 groupset is a huge jump in performance. Gear changes are instant and closer together.
Fhe combination of 105 calipers, pads and new wheel surface has added life to the brake biting too.
All in all, I would recommend this upgrade to anyone, but maybe go for the racing 5's.

I'm planning on doing something similar, but with Racing 5s instead. It's a red t3 that'll be upgraded, which is the same frame near enough to your t5 but in red, so just a little faster
