Would not usually review a saddle since very personal, what one person hates another loves etc. However recently put some pics of my red t3 up in 'My Btwin' section (racing red t3) with my new Adamo saddle and couple of people asked about it so thought I'd review it.
Firstly it looks very different from a normal saddle as basically has no nose on it...Ok it just looks weird! See link

In terms of why change - well for several years I've used Charge Spoon and really liked it, doing several century rides with no issues. However last year I started doing time trial races and have fitted aerobars and lowered the bars significantly. I found that although Spoon was brilliant for normal rides, in the folded over aerobars position it was causing soreness and numbness down below - especially on the turbo (which I use about 3 times a week) so wanted to try an Adamo which is used by lot if timetriallists. Planet X was cheapest at Β£80, then on Xmas day they sent a voucher for 20% off so Β£64 seemed too good to pass up as 2nd hand ones sell for around that.
Very easy to fit - no different from any other saddle, however ISM (the manufacturer) do give quite specific instructions on their website with videos etc on how to fit it, since it should be further back and down from usual saddle position. Anyway I fitted it as per their guide, adjusting from my previous saddle position.
Have now ridden it 4 times on turbo for upto 90 mind (but no outside rides yet) and no numbness at all and no soreness where it was before in aero position. Without being too graphic, the saddle is made so you sit quite far forward on the arms so your 'meat and 2 veg' hang off the front so no pressure at all.
However the first few rides I felt sore on my sit bones as more pressure on them (as off the more tender parts). ISM do say this is likely and need to condition your body over little bit of time. However not too bad pain and didn't notice any this evening (4th ride). I imagine on road when moving bit more it will be easier still.
Also in terms of aero position I find I can hold a lower position easier and for longer as more comfy now in this position.
Overall pleased but need a long 100k min ride on road before can give total thumbs up - which unlikely before spring!
