www.provizsports.com/en_gb/hi-visibility-cycling/proviz-reflect360/proviz-reflective-cycling-jacket-high-visibility-cycling-jacket-reflect360Not got one of these myself, but have been looking at them for a while. Tonight in the middle of Richmond Park (yes, in the dark) I stopped a guy wearing one of them. Boy are they good from a visibility point of view. I could see the jacket like a discombulated ghost easily from 50-100m away. Its distinctive, and the pic/vids I have seen of them are no exageration. I will definitely be getting something from them in the next fwe weeks for my night rides. Perhaps a helmet cover & rucksack cover, if nothing else. Saw a few other riders with 'hi viz' on RP too, including the Altura Night Vision (my wife has one of these as well). Didn't even come close.

I'd thought the same, but reviews I read all said about 'boil in the bag'

well, I don't know about that.
I have recently bought a BTwin jacket, and still have old Aldi jacket (and missuses Night Vision jacket I could use) so I am unlikely to buy the Jacket. Better option for me, is to go helmet cover, rucksack cover I think. I did consider the rucksack itself, but I'm not overly impressed with the design of it.
I also found a chinese version on aliexpress. Would be nice to just be able to buy just the material so if you (or your missus) is handy with a sewing machine she can taylor something. Cut out some elbow patches or some other shapes to put on your existing jacket.
The main thing is the visibility aspect is exceptional.

Think I'll stick with what I already have which seems to do the job:

Also saw a video on yt, which suggested that wearing during the day in bright sunlight may not be the best idea in the world.

Think I'll stick with what I already have which seems to do the job: yeah, you look fine. I may just put my spokey lights on soon. Another one of these 'bright' ideas. Fancy but probably not 100% practical. Erm, will remember the name of them soon. ETA "monkeylectric M232" it is.
