Hi all,
I have recently got my hands on a triban 3 (white) and am looking at changing the stem to raise the bars/bring them closer so I am riding in a slightly more upright position.
Trouble is, I cannot tell what stems would fit? There is mention of oversized and standard diameters and different lengths, etc.
Can anybody suggest a decent stem (as cheap as possible) that will raise the bar height a bit? I have already tried flipping it over but not enough difference.
Alternatively, if anybody has done this, can you help with the measurements I need to look for when buying a stem.
Thanks,
Luke

Have you tried flipping the current stem to start with?

I have tried flipping it already but its still not quite there. Thank you for the links, the adjustable one looks like it could be OK but I'm a little worried about it creaking/ slipping?
Do you happen to know how much of a difference having a shorter stem gives compared to getting a riser (such as the second link posted) I think about an inch difference in height is all I need, but I've run out of room in regards to spacers so thought trying a different stem might help.
Thanks,
Luke
Edit: I believe I currently have the standard stem that came with the bike and it measures at 110m.

You'd notice a big difference with a 90 especially of you flipped that. Main disadvantage of adjustable is weight.
