Dear all,
I have a Triban 3 which I purchased about 2+ years ago. In that time it has served me well for my daily commute, and I haven't updated anything on the bike.
I have a problem in that I sometimes hit the back of my leg/ calves on the front crankset, which hurts and usually draws some blood. I find it a bit annoying and wondering if anyone can recommend a guard which is easy to fit on the Triban 3, and if it looks nice that is a bonus.
I also find that the stem height is quite low for me. I know this is a road bike and I am meant to lean forward, but it's quite uncomfortable for me and and I would like to raise the height of the stem/ headset so I can ride more comfortably. I currently have all the spacers under the headset, but it still feels too low.
Help/ links/ advice/ much appreciated!
Sorry if my terminology isn't correct or these are simple fixes.
Thanks in advance!

Okay, I can see a few people suggested buying one of these: www.decathlon.co.uk/adjustable-bike-stem-11-8-id_8272094.htmlI still feel that adjusting the height may be needed, but not sure how to do this.. and have read reviews online that these adjustable stems can be quite dangerous as they break easily..

I use one of these and as long as you follow what it says on the tin you'll be okay, no worries.

Regarding the height of the handlebars.. what is the best way to raise these on the Btwin Triban 3. I have all the spacers under the stem, but would still like it to be higher. id the step turned to angle up? if so, a more angled one would be the option, note though that higher angles mean that unless you get longer, that bars also get closer.
